Before the exhilaration of bringing a product to market I used to have a hard time waking up on Mondays. That was then. No one ever explained to me the joys of creating a product, even one as simple as ours and wrestling with it, tweaking it, perfecting it, perfecting it again, making it pretty, making it funky, branding, selling it. I feel like the world has been holding out on me.
Of course this process is not without a certain modicum of despair and trepidation, but these are not of the freeze-you-in-your-tracks variety of fears. They are the small challenges; stacks of to-dos that can be broken down into smaller actions.
If only someone had told me that beginning a business was just a small collection of actions, I’d have done this about a million years ago.
